Manfred Mann´s Earth Band

In the organizer's words:
Standing room only

A crowd favorite AND one of the greats of international rock & pop history is finally coming back to the Kulturetage in 2026:
Welcome MANFRED MANN's Earth Band!
In addition to the mastermind on keyboards, Earth Band founding member Mick Rogers (guitar & backing vocals), singer Robert Hart (formerly with Bad Company), Steve Kinch on bass and drummer John Lingwood will be on board again. A first-class band. The VVK is open!
The Earthband versions of "Blinded by the light", "Father of day, father of night", "Spirits in the night", "Davys on the road again" or of course "Mighty Quinn" are classics of rock music that are now associated more with them than with the original performers - after all, greats such as Bruce Springsteen or Bob Dylan. Since 1971, Mann, who was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1940 and had his first successes in the 1960s with songs such as "Ha! Ha! Said the clown" in the 1960s, has made a name for himself with his formation above all in the refinement of well-known songs.
But it goes without saying that Manfred Mann's Earth Band's own compositions and body of work have also made them immortal. The late 70s albums Watch, Angel Station and Chance in particular were hugely popular in Germany, all reaching the top 10 and remaining there as long sellers for months and years!

The fact that Manfred Mann's Earth Band did not make it to the big stadiums and rock arenas is probably only due to chance - and the reserved, almost shy character of the now 85-year-old (!) Manfred Mann himself. He prefers to leave the show to his musical partners, both in the media and live on stage.

We are very much looking forward to this major international pop & rock highlight next fall 2026 at the Kulturetage! This content has been machine translated.
