Männerschnupfen Reloaded - The unique duo cabaret comedy show Based on the book by Peter Buchenau & Ina Lackerbauer Stage version: Peter Buchenau & team "I have a cold... or as my wife would say, loosely based on Heinz Ehrhardt: It's over with you" (quote from Peter Buchenau)
Edutainment at its best!
Peter Buchenau plays the long-suffering male cold patient, who explains to the audience with the deepest conviction that the poor men suffer much more pain with a male cold than women do during childbirth. No wonder Peter doesn't really get much sympathy from his stage partner Gloria either. However, she finally persuades him to visit a doctor's surgery after all. So poor Peter ends up with a militaristic, hypothermic doctor who prescribes him countless medications because she is in cahoots with the profit-hungry pharmacist. The whole play culminates in the absolute climax when Peter takes all the pills at once and not only encounters his own liver, but is also visited at home by the Grim Reaper. In the end, Peter Buchenau gets to the heart of the message behind "Männerschnupfen": ultimately, " is also about love and recognition.
