Every year in November, the forum youth culture center in Mannheim is transformed into a paradise for board game fans for an entire weekend. "Mannheim Plays!" - the city's biggest board game event - opens its doors on Saturday from 2 pm to 10 pm and on Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. As always, admission is free and everyone is welcome to come along and play!

Whether with friends, family or other board game enthusiasts that you meet at "Mannheim Spielt!" - everyone gets their money's worth here. Over 3,500 different games from the extensive games lending library of the SpieleMa e.V. association are available. If you want, you can also bring your own games and play them at one of the many tables.

To ensure that no one loses track, club members are happy to help you find the right game from the huge selection. And if the rules are unclear, our "explanatory bears" are on hand to explain them patiently and clearly. This makes getting started with new games child's play, and even newcomers can dive into the world of board games without any problems.

Another highlight of the event are the board game publishers, who present their latest games on site. Visitors will have the opportunity to try out the latest game trends and find out about new releases.

Food and drinks can be purchased at fair prices, so that nothing stands in the way of an extended afternoon or evening of gaming.

A special highlight of "Mannheim Spielt!" is the large board game flea market, which attracts numerous visitors every year. Used games can be bought, swapped or sold here.
