Springtime flower magic at the colliery. The Manufactum Garden Days in Waltrop

Friday, April 24, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 25, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

We are celebrating our anniversary! For 25 years, the grounds of the Waltrop colliery have been in bloom in spring. Then it's all about gardening, planting and designing gardens and balconies in a natural and wild bee-friendly way. On offer are tomato plants, young herbs and vegetables, seeds, roses, fruit trees, insect-friendly perennials and flower bulbs as well as beautiful garden equipment and decoration, floristry and more. Some of our suppliers will be on site to answer your questions.

Blacksmiths, basket weavers, brush and broom makers will provide a market atmosphere with their goods, farmers from the region will be represented with their products, as will wine merchants and the barista from the neighboring coffee roastery. A walk with alpacas across the beautiful colliery grounds is a unique experience, while our free activity program promises lots of fun for children. Of course, there will also be plenty to eat - from tasty treats from our food range to organic Dutch fries, delicious ice cream creations and waffles to good seasonal cuisine in the Lohnhalle restaurant.
