The traditional Plochingen Christmas market opens its doors for the 46th time on the first weekend of Advent as one of the most traditional Christmas markets in the region. Around the festively decorated market square and in the pedestrian zone, art, crafts and Christmas decorations, handmade and unusual items, hot waffles, fragrant mulled wine and much more are on offer at beautifully decorated stalls.

This year, visitors can once again look forward to a very special market: the Plochingen Christmas market will once again be a fairytale. Under the motto "The Brave Little Tailor" - based on the well-known fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm - this year's Plochingen Christmas market will not only enchant young visitors. On the market square, in the Old Town Hall, on Fischbrunnenplatz and in Marktstraße, the Christmas market huts and stalls create a pre-Christmas atmosphere. Many stalls with Advent, decorative and culinary offerings and the arts and crafts market invite you to stroll and shop. The first Christmas presents are sure to be bought there. On the first floor of the Old Town Hall and in the meeting room, you will find a wide range of arts and crafts: from home-made jewelry, felt work, paintings and much more - there is something for every art lover. A number of small wooden huts are once again grouped around the market square, where other artisans offer their wares. Christmas music will be provided by Plochingen clubs and organizations throughout the Christmas market.
