Achim Sonntag has been a freelance children's theater maker and clown for over thirty years.
clown. Not so long ago, however, he also began working as a rhyming and storytelling artist.
also appeals to an adult audience with his fairy tale adaptations.
In 2019, he created "Frog King or something", in which he tells the Grimm fairy tale from the
perspective of the frog. This was followed in 2023 by "Tischlein deck dich das war ich". Here, the little table itself tells its own story. Both texts are rhymed, almost linguistically acrobatic in places, and bring witty, interesting, surprising and new sides to the well-known fairy tales.
They are presented as narrative theater in a lively, captivating, rousing way.
