MARCHING IN THE DARK

In the organizer's words:

Determined to make a better life for herself and her children after the suicide of her husband, a farmer, Sanjivani fights against the traditional marginalization of widows in rural India. Integrated into her brother-in-law's household, she juggles her duties as a mother, housewife and farm worker and suffers from social stigmatization. When she secretly joins a self-help group for widows of farmers, she is strengthened by the community, shared stories of resilience and unexpected solidarity and finds a way forward.
