Marcus Imbsweiler & Florian Kaiser: Ganz neu: der Heidelberger Theaterverlag

With Heidelberger Theaterverlag, the UNESCO City of Literature has its first theater publishing house. It was founded by author Marcus Imbsweiler and actor and director Florian Kaiser at the beginning of the year as a publishing house by authors for authors. They took over parts of the renowned theater publisher Hofmann-Paul (Berlin). The new company is the result of years of collaboration in the creation of contemporary drama for the Heidelberg touring stage Theater Carnivore®. In Local Monday, they talk about their plans and their view of the drama of our time. Florian Kaiser and actress Kerstin Kiefer will also read from parts of the publishing program.

Florian Kaiser is an actor, director and theater manager. In 2015, he founded the touring stage Theater Carnivore, one of the few touring stages in Europe.

Marcus Imbsweiler is known for his crime novels and stories, which are often linked to music and the Heidelberg region. He performs regularly at the DAI with the programs Local Monday and Musical Sunday.
