Our Mario Kart tournament offers space for up to 16 teams of two players each. The game is played on the Switch in the 150 racing class with COM opponents (except in the final).
Tournament mode
Four groups of four teams are formed at the start. Within each group, a Grand Prix with four tracks (two tracks per player) will be played. 1st & 2nd place qualify for the next round in the Winners Bracket. 3rd & 4th place have a maximum of one more chance to advance to the next round in the Fighters Bracket. A team needs a total of three wins to reach the final. Two defeats will result in elimination from the tournament.
The first 8 teams to be eliminated will play in the Beginners Cup.
