For Munich artist Mario Steigerwald, his art has meant healing and self-realization, even before his trauma rose to the surface again 50 years later. In this documentary, Steigerwald offers intimate insights into his work in the Munich art scene and gradually confronts his traumatic past in Uruguay, where he was tortured during an interrogation as a teenager.
