Rill lived in Austin, Texas, where he studied his musical craft. In the quarter of a century since his debut album, he has played in small bars, large clubs and on huge open-air stages. Solo, with duo partners, with a band. Rill has recorded albums in Nashville, Tennessee, won international songwriter awards and German country music prizes. He has performed on stage with legends such as Townes van Zandt, Rosanne Cash, Southside Johnny, Jason Isbell and many others - in the USA, Germany, Scandinavia, Great Britain, France, Spain and the Netherlands.
