Short biography of Martin O.:
Martin O. is a Swiss artist who creates fascinating worlds of sound with his "Symphonium", an Appenzell walnut loop instrument, and delights his audiences with it. He has been performing successfully on stages in German-speaking countries since 2007 with programs such as "Stimmentänzer", "Cosmophon", "Der MaUSIKER" and "o solo io". He combines humor, music and technology to create a unique experience. He has received several awards for his remarkable work, including the German Kleinkunstpreis, the Swiss Innovation Award, the Tuttlinger Krähe and the Unterföhringer Kulturpreis. He is currently presenting "Super Looper", his fifth stage program, which combines highlights from his 16 years of Martin O. and many new numbers to create a tangible "Super Loop".
