Maruti Quintett | "Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten"

Donkey, dog, cat and rooster are at a loss. Today of all days, the sheet music for their big concert performance has been stolen from them, the Town Musicians of Bremen. There's only one thing to do: they need a detective to track down the culprit. The four pets trustingly turn to Tillmann Tinkenbrink, the best in his field. Without further ado, he asks the audience to support him and keep their eyes and ears open. An exciting adventure about courage, hope and friendship begins, in which the young detectives follow in the footsteps of the popular fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. Together they take on a gang of robbers and hone their detective and musical skills. Can they save the concert of the animal stars together?

In this children's concert, the Maruti Quintet plays an arrangement by Jochen Müller-Brincken, who makes the well-known folk song "Das Wandern ist des Müllers Lust" by Carl Friedrich Zöllner the main musical motif and pairs it with quotes from great composers. The young listeners are actively involved in the concert by singing, moving and playing rhythm games. Together with Jonathan Danigel as detective and narrator, they accompany the four disused animals on their search for a new home and their true identity. In a children's book-style stage set, they take a closer look at the fairy tale of the Town Musicians of Bremen and are invited to try out their talents as the dog, donkey, cat and rooster. This hands-on detective concert - lovingly narrated and with surprising (musical) twists and turns - is an experience for the whole family!
