Masha Qrella is just such a person. The highly acclaimed Berlin artist releases various albums worldwide, writes incredibly fine, great hits, composes for film, radio plays and theater and licenses pieces to the US series "Grey's Anatomy". Whether in Uzbekistan, Moscow, Istanbul, Italy, England or Berlin, whether with Marion Brasch, Tarwater, Chris Imler, Dirk von Lowtzow or the Kurdish percussionist Tarik Aslan - Masha Qrella makes music however and wherever she likes. On the cover, we see her running across a Brandenburg field and are thus already in the middle of the field of tension of her seventh studio album: a life between city and country - between retreat and drifting - and the differently perceived weather conditions. From the Jeremy Spencer Band's "Cool Breeze" to the jazz classic "September in the rain". Just a moment ago, a fresh breeze was blowing around our noses, now golden leaves are announcing the imminent end of the year. In between: The everyday madness. All this song material with its many loose threads ultimately results in an incredibly coherent album - thanks above all to Masha's great musicality.
