In her first solo program "Lasagne im Bett", Matilde takes us on a journey through her life. We experience her as an Italian in the capital, her "career" as an actress and her cultural misunderstandings - and all this with a mother that some might not wish for.

But you are lucky enough to be able to laugh at this suffering. With self-irony, Matilde can deal with anything life throws at her, and with every laugh you feel lighter. No topic is too good for Matilde and everyone will find something to smile, giggle or laugh about - so much so that it almost hurts a little. The balancing act between pain and humor. That is Matilde's comedy. And you can enjoy it heartily in the balancing act.
"Lasagna in bed" is something wrong, but too good to stop. It's the tomato sauce stain on the comforter. It's gratinated cheese for breakfast: it's simply everything you wouldn't normally dare to allow. "Lasagne in Bed" is Matilde Keizer's solo program and will celebrate its German premiere at the Mehringhoftheater in Berlin on Saturday, 18 October 2025. Afterwards, a solo tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland is planned.

Short vita:
Matilde is an Italian comedienne and actress. After 18 years in Rome and five years in New York, she now lives in Berlin. She is a trained actress, gives workshops for stand-up and acting (e.g. for Filiz Tasdan, Philipp Uckel, Daniel Luis, Maria Clara Groppler, Kristina Bogansky) and has been doing improv comedy based on the American example at the Comedy Café Berlin for eight years. She was head writer of the "Shapira Shapira Show" and author of "Gute Nacht Alter"/funk).
She has performed for ZDF, in the Wühlmäusen, in the Admiralspalast and in Comedy Central sketches. She has performed in New York, Reykjavik, Edinburgh, St. Petersburg, Barcelona, Rome and in numerous German cities.
