At just 22 years of age and after the success of his former duo "Videoclub", whose audience grew to more than 3 million listeners per month, thanks in particular to the iconic title "Amour plastique" with 250 million streams, Matthieu Reynaud, alias Mattyeux, continues to give us the bande ori- ginale of his life through his music.

En octobre 2024, Mattyeux dévoile son tout premier album solo, Mirages, composé de 12 titres. This album marks a turning point in his career as a solo artist. In a style of pop alternatif teinté de mélancolie, il nous offre des mélodies qui expriment la beauté et la fragilité des émotions hu- maines, oscillant entre tristesse et joie.

Un vieux cahier dans la poche arrière du jean, un crayon derrière l'oreille, Mattyeux arpente les rues en quête d'inspiration, trouvant des rimes qu'il couche sur le papier, à l'image de Leonardo DiCaprio dans Basketball Diaries. Like Jim Carroll, he is passionate about poetry, which nourishes his songs.

Inspired by the cinema of the 90s, Mattyeux creates chansons that plunge us into the atmosphere of a film in which we are the heroes, mêlant allégresse, doutes, nostalgie et émois amoureux. On Mi- rages, he also realizes a childhood dream in collaboration with artists he admires, notably Princess Chelsea, with whom he composes the bilingual title Sometimes.

Matthieu says precisely what he wants artistically. Il est un esprit libre et indépendant, refusant de se conformer à des standards. Entouré de ses proches, il conserve une indépendance artistique totale. His sister Julie Reynaud accompanied him in the realization of the clips of his first singles: Break up diaries, inspired by the universe of the film Roméo + Juliet, Sometimes avec Princess Chelsea, and the very poetic Honnête. These titles quickly found a loyal public in France and abroad, attracted by their elegant, sensitive and authentic pop.

In 2023, Matthieu also signed the music of the title Apocalypse Calypso for Mika.

Influenced by cinema, poetry, artists such as Cage the Elephant, les Chromatics, Her's, The Stranglers, and his own unique sensibility, Mattyeux brings us music to listen to every moment of the day, be it in the morning, at midday, on the bus or under the rain.
