He is an entertainer, dandy and probably Düsseldorf's only true chansonnier: Mayo Velvo. His fans love him for his sharp-witted stories, his ironic elegance - and for the fact that he interprets chansons in ten languages as authentically as if each were his own.

From French melancholy and urban irony to classics from the Eurovision Song Contest - Mayo Velvo transforms every song into an experience. It is not for nothing that he is considered the "voice of good music" in Düsseldorf: whether at his legendary ESC Gala, his Christmas revue "Have yourself a Velvo little Christmas" or as resident chansonnier at Bar Lola.
