Community lecture by Lucia Gefken

Flat, wide, unique - this is how the 24 northern trails in the district of Rotenburg (Wümme) are advertised. But can they really give you a new zest for life?

Lucia Gefken sets off on the hiking trails to experience adventure and escape the daily grind. But she soon realizes that she has to contend with a number of challenges: grandiose overconfidence, overwhelming hunger and a certain lack of planning. In the end, however, the northern trails change her life forever - and she realizes that hiking in northern Germany is absolutely worth the adventure!

In her humorous way, she talks about her experiences on the Northern Paths and other hiking trails and makes you want to lace up your shoes and discover nature on your own doorstep.
