Memorias Latinoamericanas

In the organizer's words:

"Memorias Latinoamericanas" is a bilingual play inspired by the work of the Uruguayan writer Eduardo Galeano. Based on documentary sources, it brings Latin American history of the 20th century back to life. To the rhythm of the various sounds, the audience enters into micro-stories about the iconic characters and communities of this continent. The selected historical events show continuities and reference lines up to the present day. Whether the question of sexual expression in Colombia, the territorial rights of indigenous groups in Chile or cultural identities in Mexico, a look into history is always a look into the present and the future.

"Memorias Latinoamericanas" promotes intercultural exchange and introduces the audience to the history of Latin America in a playful way. And by the way, it is a great pleasure to experience the joy of "La Perra Alegria", Samanta Elena Pizarro Aliste and Adam Arhelger, live.
