Democracy is never static. It is dynamic, changing through the people who are constantly working on it. The philosopher, publicist and author Michel Friedman is one of the most tireless campaigners for democracy. In "Man! Declaration of Love by a Desperate Democrat" (Piper), he exposes the dangers of resignation and media-driven sensationalism, challenges people to contradict themselves and - despite everything - gives them courage. In fall 2025, Michel Friedman will be a guest at the Münchner Kammerspiele with his own series of talks (all information at www.muenchner-kammerspiele.de). At the Literaturhaus, he calls for decisive action and a fight for democracy.
