Mercy Street – A Tribute to Peter Gabriel

British musician Peter Gabriel is one of the most successful and influential pop artists of the past 50 years, initially as a founding member of progressive rock pioneers Genesis and later as part of his unique solo career. With his "Secret World" tour, Peter Gabriel set new standards for live concerts and stage productions in the 1990s. The subsequent concert film was awarded the Grammy and the Rose d'Or, among others.

Mercy Street - A Tribute to Peter Gabriel celebrates Peter Gabriel's legendary tour and brings the spirit of his "Secret World" live on stage. In addition to the musical retrospective with all the well-known hits such as "Come Talk To Me", "Solsbury Hill" and "Sledgehammer", Mercy Street promise further musical surprises, including tracks from Gabriel's latest album I/O.

Since their formation in 2015, Mercy Street have earned a reputation as the best Peter Gabriel tribute band in Europe. The Rheinische Post writes, "Mercy Street concerts are a gigantic hymn to the intelligent, meaningful compositions of Peter Gabriel, are a must for friends and connoisseurs, are a must for Gabriel fans."

For the Neue Westfälische Zeitung, Mercy Street are more than just a tribute band, "they have grasped the spirit of Gabriel". And according to Rundblick Unna, it was "simply a brilliant tribute concert. Mercy Street are as close to the original as you can get. Their stage show is top-class, with sophisticated lighting technology and an elaborate video concept, but in the end it would be enough to surrender to the music and the voices with your eyes closed."
