FARN Collective / Joachim Schlömer & Anne-Sophie Raemy

Narcissus and Echo is a dance performance based on Ovid's Metamorphoses, in which transformation is explored as a relationship between body, material, light, video and sound. The elements react to each other in real time and actively involve the audience. In terms of content, the work is divided into different phases: Recognition, Dissolution, Decay and Return. Within the four phases, physical and acoustic resonance are made tangible.

The project takes place in cooperation with the Akademie für Theater und Digitalität in Dortmund and the Warteck Basel. The participants are Joachim Schloemer (choreography, dance), Anne-Sophie Raemy (material, costume), Warja Rybakova (programming, 3D design) as well as Tom Schneider (composition and sound design) and Tobias Staab (video, machine learning) from the FARN collective.
