Haus Westland becomes an art stage -Leon Löwentraut brings color to the city

10 days. 1 facade. Thousands of moments.

From October 17 to 26, 2025, Mönchengladbach will become a city of art. The region's best-known "scrap property", Haus Westland, will be given a new lease of life - thanks to the spectacular video art of Leon Löwentraut, one of Germany's most important young artists.

Every evening from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., the façade of the building is transformed into a giant work of art - illuminated art meets urban transformation.

And admission? Free for everyone!

In this extraordinary open-air gallery, Mönchengladbach experiences its biggest art illumination of all time - accompanied by high-quality gastronomy and lounge areas on Europaplatz.
