Eva has just celebrated her 50th birthday. She has been married for over two decades and her two children are on the cusp of adulthood. Her life is running smoothly - until she meets Alex on a business trip to Rome. The charismatic screenwriter only spends a few days in the city, but from the very first moment Eva feels an unexpected attraction. Suddenly there are butterflies in her stomach, the tingling of a new possibility, the echo of a long-forgotten feeling. Without wanting to, she begins to question her previous life. Something inside her awakens - a fire that she thought had long been extinguished.

"I believe that every movie has an origin, a moment, a place where something happens and you witness its creation. It all started one afternoon when we accidentally discovered that our friend, who is not called Eva, was looking at rental apartments without telling anyone, least of all her husband. At that moment, this comedy began to take shape in me. A comedy that has to be taken very seriously. Full of misunderstandings, doubts, unexpected lies, absurd moments and ridiculous situations. Because that's exactly what happens when feelings overwhelm us and make decisions in their own way that we don't dare to make.
