But even this notoriously good-humored guy at the piano now has his doubts. Is his once vaunted authenticity still acceptable in times of survival of the fakest? Why does the word "problem zone" make everyone think of stomach, legs and bottom and nobody thinks of brains? Where to emigrate to when the right is already everywhere? And above all: is the future still a solution at all?
Fortunately, thanks to attention spans shredded by TikTok, nobody expects an answer to such complex questions any more. Perhaps Michael Krebs will provide one anyway. In any case, as long as we can laugh at ourselves together, pessimism is not an option. You don't have to be the brightest light on the darknet to realize that. "I no longer believe in humanity, but I still believe in humanity," says Michael Krebs. And so his concerts are not ones that make you forget the world outside for two hours. Much better: they make you see the world with different eyes. And that feels good. So good that you have to exaggerate in order not to lie.

Short biography:
Michael Krebs was already the class clown during his music studies in Hamburg. But it was only on stage that he realized that music and irony were his personal dream team. The singer and pianist has been touring the German-speaking world for over 20 years and has earned himself a reputation as a captivating live artist. During this time, he has developed considerably both musically and in terms of content. The playful comedy of his early years has gained depth and his thematic spectrum has expanded into social politics.

His love of stylistic experimentation has taken him from appearances at the open air in Wacken, Nightwash and the 3sat festival to support shows for Alligatoah and Alfred Biolek.
He founded the "Arbeitsgruppe Zukunft" with Marc-Uwe Kling and Julius Fischer. Krebs has released numerous albums solo and with his band, the "Pommesgabeln des Teufels"
and has won over 20 comedy, cabaret and music awards. In 2023, he was nominated for the German Music Author Award.
