John Coltrane is one of the most influential jazz musicians of all time. Together with the congenial trumpeter Miles Davis, the saxophonist shaped the sound of the 1950s/60s and was involved in trend-setting recordings such as "Milestones" and the million-seller "Kind of Blue". His own album "Giant Steps" is also one of the most important jazz records of the time.
