In the organizer's words:

We admit that we might expect something different on the first Advent. More calm, more peace and comfort, more harbingers of Christmas.

But with our program "Mitten im Sturm" (In the midst of the storm) we enter the unruly winds of the world and meet the turmoil of our hearts with song and respond to the chaos with anger, joy, defiance, hope, resistance, self-assurance, warmth and the certainty that something good will come out of it.

With this in mind, we look forward to welcoming you to the north of Hamburg this time and to being guests at St. Jürgen in Langenhorn.

Our concert begins on November 30 at 6 pm and we hope that many familiar and unfamiliar faces will find their way to us to listen to works by Bezuidenhout, Bárdos, Desprez, Hajipour, Klepper, Ešenvalds, Wolters and Johann Sebastian Bach's Jesu meine Freude.
