Sometimes, at the crossroads of our biographies, we fear that we have hesitated too long and missed something. This is also the case for the four friends who sit in the Heidelberg vineyards in the mid-1990s and ponder their future. Fatih has a groundbreaking idea: "How great would it be if there was a rehearsal room for life? You go in there and rehearse ten minutes from the future? Like at Deichmann, only not with shoes, but with fate."

In Saša Stanišić's story, Fatih's invention becomes reality and everyone can use the "fitting room of the future": There is the cleaner Dilek, who decides to take her life into her own hands. Or the widow Gisel, who longs for a new acquaintance and therefore cleverly positions the watering can in the cemetery.

Following the world premiere of "Blueprint", director Hannah Frauenrath is staging the play in Heidelberg for the second time and devotes herself to Stanišić's story about the wonderful detours of life.
