Johann Sebastian Bach's life and work coincided with the transition from the High Baroque to the Rococo period. This was a time of great innovation and creative productivity, not only musically, but in all the liberal and applied arts. The Baroque era unleashed a unique imagination in form, color and material, ranging from powerful opulence and playful refinement to the limits of decadence. The future designers at the fashion school take up the aesthetic impulses of this era in their creations. The young artists build a bridge between past and present, between baroque opulence and modern fashion art.
