Modern Metal Madness brings Northern Germany's modern metal scene to Stellwerk

On September 11, 2026, Stellwerk Hamburg will be the meeting place for fans of modern hard music. At Modern Metal Madness, four bands from northern Germany will come together to present an evening of metalcore, alternative metal and deathcore: raw, emotional and full of energy.

The Hamburg band Cursed Abyss combines deathcore, metalcore and hardcore into an intense mix of brute breakdowns, dark melodies and emotional power.

Second Paradise from Rostock stand for modern, melodic metalcore: powerful shouts meet catchy clean vocals, while synths and big hooks create a dense atmosphere.

Syncopia, another Hamburg band, brings dynamic alternative metalcore to the stage, characterized by changing arcs of tension, atmospheric soundscapes and powerful riffs.

The line-up is completed by Deathspire Conclave from Flensburg. The metalcore trio stands for energetic shows, a strong DIY spirit and a clear message: metal is for everyone.
