Molas der Guna – Muster, Bedeutung und Praxis

Textile workshop with Gladis Arosemena Caicedo de Crespo on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 11 a.m. in the Museum Fünf Kontinente.
Gladis Arosemena Caicedo de Crespo will provide insights into the tradition of molas, artistic textile works of the Guna people from Panama. She explains the meaning, pattern and function. In the practical part, participants of all ages will try out simple sewing techniques. No previous knowledge necessary. Molas can be purchased afterwards.
The workshop will be held in Spanish and will be translated.
