Modern Rock

moonday6 is the name of the newcomer band from Hanover that can already be described as a real high-flyer! Founded in the summer of 2021, the modern rock band was taken under the wing of the label Boersma Records the following year and their debut album was announced for spring 2023. Before that, however, they went on tour in Spain at the end of March, where moonday6 played in Barcelona and Valencia and in clubs such as Hangar68 in Madrid, before celebrating the big release show of their debut "All Night Long" at the famous Bei Chéz Heinz in Hanover on April 1st.

The 12 songs on "All Night Long" were recorded in the summer of 2022 with producer Hannes Jaeckl (Rock Hard Live, Opeth Live-EP, Sans Secours). And that was just 18 months after their formation!

So much energy and creative output were recognized by the German Rock and Pop Association: moonday6 cleared everything and won the German Rock Award in the main category in 2023. They were also honored in 5 special categories: Best German Rock and Pop Newcomer, Best Rock Album, Best Rock Song, Best Rock Singer and Best Guitarist! The magazines Rock Hard and Rock It! also gave the album very good ratings!

And moonday6 have also supported the American crossover band hed pe from California at the legendary Headcrash in Hamburg. As you can see, moonday6 never take a break. You're guaranteed to hear a lot more from the four of them in the future!
