Until now, Christmas Eve has been a relaxed affair at Pettersson and Findus' house, but this year Findus hears about Santa Claus for the first time and has just one wish: Santa Claus should drop by his house on Christmas Eve. Pettersson, who can't refuse his cat a wish, promises that Santa Claus will come. He secretly begins to build a Santa Claus machine. When he pulls the trigger of his construction on Christmas Eve, something unexpected and magical happens...

Against a loving backdrop and with wooden hand puppets, the Kunterbunt puppet theater performs a Christmas story with the popular picture book characters.
