In a modern interpretation with contemporary music for bass clarinet, the over 2000-year-old Persian epic "The Conference of the Birds" is brought to new life. The story is about a flock of birds who set off to find their queen Simorgh. Their journey becomes a symbol of self-knowledge and community. The modern composition creates a mystical world of sound that takes the audience on a profound, emotional and at the same time very entertaining journey. In this way, the timeless wisdom of Fariduddin Attar's original is combined with the questions and issues of today's world - poetic, inspiring and full of sound.
