The myth of the Wild West is of course a thing of the past. But in places like Tombstone or Tucson, there are still many reminders of the great days of adventurers and gold seekers. What hasn't changed since then, however, is the magnificent nature, such as the bizarre rocky landscape of Chiricahua. A visit to the oldest still inhabited Indian settlement, Taos Pueblo, is also included, as is Santa Fe, built in the Adobe style of the Indians. The most magnificent natural spectacle on this trip is the Grand Canyon, National Park and World Heritage Site, one of the most impressive natural wonders in the world.
