More topical than ever, this year's Munich Advent is dedicated to the theme of "Confidence". How do we feel about our current situation in our immediate surroundings? How do we deal with "incomprehensible" (global) changes? Do we still have hope? What message can the biblical tradition of the birth of Jesus bring us - and how might Mary have felt at the time when she received the message from the angel? Hoping - waiting - marveling: fascinating virtues that rarely find a place in the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
