Once again, Munich Rocks! at the Ampere presents Munich bands that have attracted attention for their skills and individuality. Since March 2009, talented musicians from Munich and the surrounding area have been taking the microphone here and regularly confirm in front of a full house that the local music scene has many musical facets and great potential to offer!

The musical instinct of Lloyd (guitar, vocals), the dynamic power of Jakob (drums) and the hypnotic, precise sound of Lava (bass) means that the music doesn't just scratch the surface: It gets deep under your skin. Johnny Fab Kaufmann
This is Woody, Sophia, Adele, Tibor and Jakob. They are all Johnny Fab Kaufmann. Carried by Sofia and Woodys' partly unisono, partly polyphonic vocals, they create a sound that skillfully combines improvisational elements with sophisticated soundscapes that unite the spatiality of analog productions from the 60s and 70s with digital sound generation. www.instagram.com/johnnyfabkaufmann/

Velorise
Velorise emerged in 2024 from Moehlzart, a band that Gilles Möhl originally brought to life with two English friends. After his return to Munich, a local drummer and bassist were found: Quirin Reichl and Alex Mutschke. Velorise was born. In addition to the new music, old Moehlzart songs continue to be performed. Stylistically, the band moves between hard breakdowns and ballad-like melodies. Alternative fusion would probably be a good description. All in all, it is music for cuddly headbanging.
