How do you take a musical project from the initial idea to funding? What ways are there to finance releases, videos or tours - without compromising your own values?

In the "Financing music" workshop, Nelle will show you how to plan projects strategically and make the most of funding opportunities. You will gain practical insights into funding applications, financing options and structures that help artists to realize their visions. The workshop is designed to be interactive so that you can contribute and discuss your own ideas and questions directly.

Nelleke Schmidt is a cultural manager, artist manager and founder of @angrierthanever - a platform for queer and independent artists. She has experience in music journalism, PR, product management, tour booking and DJ sets and supports artists holistically with releases, funding applications and music video productions. Her approach: support at eye level, DIY structures, queerness and self-determination in the music industry.
