Workshop: Music production & beats - getting creative with modern music software

Do you want to bring your song to life in audio software?

Immerse yourself in the world of music production. Together we'll explore different techniques, edit samples and fine-tune the sound, all directly on your laptop.

In the practice-oriented workshop at Dr. Hoch's Conservatory, you will learn step by step how to create and edit your own tracks. Our focus is on an intuitive and user-friendly workflow so that you can get creative right away. Your own musical expression takes center stage.

The workshop is aimed at beginners with or without previous knowledge. All you need is curiosity and a love of music!

Paul Mond is an innovative music producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist from Frankfurt am Main, who is attracting international attention with his unique sound under the label "Future Indie Bounce". His music combines elements of hip-hop, R'n'B, house, Brazilian and Spanish music, bringing together the most diverse worlds of sound in a surprising way.

Paul Mond is best known for his creative remixes and mash-ups, which he has been releasing under the title "Flip Season" since 2017. These "flips" have already generated millions of streams on platforms such as SoundCloud and are supported by scene greats such as Joe Kay, A-Trak and DJ Jazzy Jeff. He is also in demand internationally, with performances in cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, Amsterdam and Los Angeles.

In addition to his remixes, Paul Mond has also co-produced songs by artists such as Syd, Amber Mark, 2KBaby and Bas. His debut EP "My Own Journey" was released in March 2023, which he also brings to the stage with an innovative live looping setup.

What can you expect?

  Create your own beats and melodies live on the computer. We'll show you how to implement your ideas quickly

• Recording & editing:
  Record audio and MIDI tracks and edit them with a variety of tools and effects. Learn how to record and professionally edit vocals, instruments and samples.

• Instruments & effects:
  Experiment with synthesizers, drum racks, equalizers, compressors and many other effects. We'll show you how to design sounds and add the finishing touches to your tracks.

• Export & share:
  Export your finished tracks in various formats and share them directly from the software with friends or on social media.
