Kay is lying on the bed with the fluffy blue and pink shark and doesn't know "when dey was last so exhausted / when dey was last so hyped". Infatuated but sick at the same time, Kay actually wants to meet her lover Aron and settle into her own trans* body. Queer desire and pain flare up with and against each other, but Kay is not alone with either. Kay takes a trip to IKEA and a road trip, finds friendship and creates a queer care network in which care and empowerment prevail. Kay Matter is an award-winning author and is writing a world premiere text for Theater Münster, based on his critically and community acclaimed prose debut Muscles of Plastic, which deals with queerness and disability in a groundbreaking way.
