My Migrant Mama

The book "Mama Superstar" portrays eleven courageous "Migrant Mamas" from the perspective of their German daughters and is about unconditional love, cultural diversity and lived integration.

With this book, daughters celebrate their mothers: women who have come to Germany from all over the world to find a new home here.

The "My Migrant Mama" team is trying to contribute to giving the migrant artist community more visibility and wants to look at migration from a new perspective. They talk about language, work, culture, education, mothers, daughters, integration and much more.

The authors, Melisa & Manik, are winners of the German Integration Award and have been honored by the German government as cultural and creative pilots.
