The novel "Als zuerst stirbt die Hummelkönigin" will be on sale from November. It is a paranormal mystery novel that leads into the abysses of human emotions.1873 in the royal seat of Cassel: the occultist Loui de la Rouge sacrifices seven people at a séance. But the séance turns out differently than expected, and the occultist himself dies.
One hundred and fifty years later, student Rosmarie stumbles into her shared kitchen, hungover and burnt out, only to find the body of her flatmate there. Rosmarie decides to solve her roommate's death. She is repeatedly haunted by a ghostly apparition - the paper woman. But the paper woman is not the only demon Rosmarie encounters. As events unfold, the student is haunted by her own ghosts from the past.
About the author
Josefine Lyda is originally from Hanover, has lived in Kassel and Chennai and now makes her home in Potsdam. Her main literary genre is dark fantasy, but she also ventures into other genres on occasion. So far, several of her novellas and short stories have seen the light of day. "First to Die is the Bumblebee Queen" is her first novel.
