NATURALLY 7 create the multi-faceted sound cosmos of an entire band, from the sound of the drums to the bass, the guitar, the harmonica or even the trombone - and completely without instruments! Although the 7 men sing a cappella, they are not comparable with many other groups in this genre, because only a few achieve such a perfect sound. Sometimes it's R'n'B, soul or hip-hop, sometimes gospel, pop or even rock. With playful perfection and absolutely impressive musical and interpersonal harmony, NATURALLY 7 always provide their audience with unforgettable experiences of an extraordinary kind. In addition to their musical skills, the seven vocal artists are also great entertainers and their presence on stage reaches every seat in the house and has enchanted every visitor so far.

For over 25 years now, "Band ohne Band" has been touring the entire world: With SARAH CONNOR and the single "Music is the Key" 2003 at number 1 in the German charts, three world tours with MICHAEL BUBLÈ with BUBLÈ, QUINCY JONES, LUDACRIS and 2019 with JAMES CORDEN at number 1 in the category "World's Best Band" in the show "World's Best". 2023 on tour with PUR through Germany, numerous own tours through America, Europe, Asia and Australia and in 2024 an arena tour with the bestselling author SEBASTIAN FITZEK in front of over 150,000 people.

So now it's time for an up-close and personal insight, time for a "Closer Look" for the band's 25th anniversary. In 2025, the band invites you to their "Closer Look - 25 Years" tour, for which the guys will perform a kind of best of their band history. The program also has one or two surprises in store for the audience.

NATURALLY 7 was founded in 1999 by ROGER THOMAS, who, together with his brother WARREN, sought out five other talented singers from the surrounding area. The deciding factor was that WARREN wanted a drum kit as a child. However, their mother thought it would make too much noise. So he began to imitate various drum sounds vocally and with his mouth, which has been known as "beatboxing" in hip-hop since the 1980s. One thing led to another and the other band members also enjoyed imitating instruments, which from then on became the NATURALLY 7 trademark.

It is also the distinguishing feature compared to many a cappella groups that mainly perform by singing. The seven Americans call what comes so easily from their lips "vocal play".

The exceptional musicians, who include the two founding brothers ROGER (musical director, arranger, 1st baritone & rapper) and WARREN THOMAS (percussion, "guitar", "clarinet" & 3rd tenor) as well as ROD ELRIDGE (1st tenor, "scratching"), are virtually non-stop. Tenor, "Scratching" & "Trumpet"), SEAN SIMMONDS (2nd Tenor & "Harmonica"), RICKY CORT (4th Tenor & "Guitar"), DWIGHT STEWART (2nd Baritone & "Trumpet") and NNAMDI BRYANT (Bass), because their home is the stage. There, the acoustic illusion of a small big band can be experienced up close in different variations.

Anyone who witnesses this can only agree that this is a "seven-voice wonder of the world" ("Die Welt") or, as Michael Jackson producer QUINCY JONES put it: "NATURALLY 7 are the best a cappella band of all time!"
