NDR Kultur Foyerkonzert on tour mit dem Armida Quartett

When the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival and NDR Kultur join forces, the result can only be inspiring. This will also be the case on December 3 in Bad Doberan, when the celebrated Armida Quartet will showcase its skills at the "NDR Kultur Foyer Concert on Tour" in the Grand Ducal Salon Building.

The Armida Quartet is one of Germany's leading string quartets. Founded in 2006, the award-winning quartet has developed an unmistakable ensemble sound and knows how to ignite the audience. Their spectacular success at the 2012 ARD International Music Competition, where the quartet was awarded first prize, the audience prize and six other special prizes, marked the beginning of an international career in which the four musicians have made a name for themselves in the most important chamber music halls in Europe, Asia and the USA.

At the "NDR Kultur Foyer Concert on Tour", they will demonstrate their musical expertise under the moderation of NDR Kultur editor Ludwig Hartmann and ensure a unique evening. The concert will take place in cooperation with the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and is also a foretaste of next year's Festspiele MV, where the Armida Quartet will be prizewinners in residence. The quartet will also perform the opening concert of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern 2026 Festival in Neubrandenburg's Konzertkirche together with the NDR Radiophilharmonie.

Tickets for the exclusive "NDR Kultur Foyer Concert on Tour" on December 3 cannot be purchased, but can only be won. NDR Kultur will be holding lotteries from November 14 online at www.NDR.de/kultur and in the NDR Kultur app.
