Christmas stories for children with punch and cookies

St. Nicholas carillon concert
- Time: 17:00
- Location: St. Nikolai Memorial, the carillon can be heard and seen from the site of the former nave

All children and parents are cordially invited to come to the memorial on St. Nicholas Day! Registration is not required and admission is free.

The Nikolai Quarter is the economic cradle of Hamburg and therefore plays an important role in the history and development of the city. The Nikolai Church located there has been a formative element not only of the quarter but also of Hamburg's city center for centuries up to the present day.

In the Nikolai Quarter, whose name is derived from St. Nicholas, the patron saint of seafarers and others, the name day of the historic saint is celebrated with special events for the whole family: On December 6, children throughout the Quarter can meet St. Nicholas from 12 noon to 6 pm. Dressed in traditional garb, he will be handing out tasty surprises to visitors. He also comes to the St. Nikolai memorial with a Christmas angel, where he surprises the children.
