nische

In the organizer's words:

"nische" is the name of a series of events that takes place four times a year in the Diakonissenbunker in Stuttgart. During the event, one DJ plays for one hour, followed by a second DJ for another hour. The music is not genre-specific and is accompanied by video projections by VJs. The event has a strict time frame and music is played for a maximum of two hours. Diversity is taken into account when choosing the DJs and VJs.

nische wants to show that the club atmosphere can serve as a catalyst to open up artistic access to music. The aim is also to broaden the musical spectrum in nightlife by giving a place to musical genres that are lost in the classic concepts of clubs and concerts.

Schedule of the event

• Start punctually at 10pm. Admission half an hour before.

• 21:45: A countdown is visually displayed. A gong sounds 5 minutes before 10pm. 180 seconds before the second chime. 20 seconds before 22:00 there is a countdown similar to older movie clips.

• 22:00 - 23:00:
  First:r DJ plays music accompanied by video projections.

• 23:00 - 23:15:
  Break, countdown is introduced analogous to above.

• 23:15 -00:15:
  Second:r DJ plays music accompanied by video projections.

• 0:15: End of the event
