The protagonists of the "No Legend, No Story" program leave the paths intended for them at very different stages of their lives in order to courageously go their own way.

In A SUMMER PLACE, frustrated Tina receives a special kind of birthday surprise that takes her life in an unexpected direction. Yael from WAKING UP IN VEGAS, on the other hand, has to come to terms with his dominant brother without jeopardizing his friendship with Aaron. ANEMONE resists the strict influence of her family and goes to great lengths to express her own awakening identity. THE SAINT OF DRY CREEK is an example of how parents sometimes know their children better than they know themselves. And the last film shows how ANGELIQUE from the Bavarian provinces writes her very own life story with great courage.

Once again this year, KURZFILMTAG presents a queer short film program put together by Katja Briesemeister (freelance curator and short film coordinator of the Hamburg International Queer Film Festival).
