Non Est Deus, founded as a one-man project, has developed over the course of five albums into a major force in modern black metal. Deeply rooted in religious symbolism, the band's lyrics deal with the path through suffering, faith, guilt and decay - from Job to Jonah, from enlightenment to damnation.

Under the leadership of Noise (Kanonenfieber), an uncompromising live formation was created: four masked musicians, united in a ritual act of sonic violence. The performances resemble blasphemous ceremonies - an interplay of atmosphere, martial aesthetics and cutting melodic black metal.

Non Est Deus elevates past myths and religious relics to weapons against emptiness, dogma and moral decay.

Not just a performance - a ritual. An indictment. A revelation.
