There's nothing going on in tranquil and rainy Pattensiel on the East Frisian coast - unless the weekly bunny party is taking place in the village pub "Zum Deichhasen". The villagers come together to sing karaoke and enjoy a drink or two.

But now everything threatens to change: The landlord Werner Beckmann has passed away and there is no successor for the "Deichhasen". He has been trying to contact his daughter Laura in Berlin by letter for years - but her mother has always thwarted this. Nevertheless, Laura is now to inherit everything.

The city doctor and her snooty fiancé have no use for the pub and want to sell it for building projects. But in doing so, they threaten to tear Petra, Matze, Lutz and Philip, who all have their hearts in the right place, away from the center of their lives. Will Laura recognize the true beauty of life behind the dyke in time ...?

In their new comedy, Kay Kruppa and Frank Pinkus whisk the audience away to a different kind of place of longing, where the North German villagers get together with typical rough charm and fight for their second home. In addition, there are wonderful pop songs from "Santa Maria" to "Er gehört zu mir" and "Herzbeben", which invite you to sing along as karaoke songs!
