Nikita Teryoshin's photographic work is dedicated to the absurd, often overlooked aspects of modern life. With a keen sense of irony and visual wit, he documents social contradictions, power structures and economic contexts - whether in agriculture, while traveling or in everyday urban life.
His style combines documentary precision with surreal exaggeration and an idiosyncratic, often humorous visual language. His long-term series Nothing Personal - The Back Office of War, in which he has been documenting international arms fairs since 2016, attracted a great deal of attention. Without showing faces, he succeeds in revealing the anonymity and absurdity of this hermetic world - a look behind the scenes of a global business with deadly consequences.
